Our small production handcrafted wines
Our philosophy is simple. We strive for excellence in fruit quality and allow it to drive the end result.
Our wines are an honest reflection of the grapes at their time of harvest. As a matter of policy we don’t extend barrel aging and apply only modest oaking.
The end result reflects our philosophy – complex fruit tones with an overwhelming richness that shows high degrees of consistency from one year to the next. Our wines are produced with a focus on quality and not profit – a rare virtue in today’s age.
All of our wines are 100% Malibu estate grown – we do not buy fruit in from other regions.
Our Varietals
We grow the classic Bordeaux varietals – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc as these are very well suited to our growing conditions. We offer these as an unblended Cab and Merlot but we also blend all 3 as a Meritage that creates a rich tapestry of taste and aroma.

Tasting Notes
Our wines define “fruit forward” – rich, full bodied, balanced, complex and pleasing to both the nose and palate. Numerous wine professionals and tasting panels have offered a range of fruit superlatives to describe their impressions of our wines. We all experience taste and aroma differently but everybody seems to agree that our wines are very pleasing.
Here is the full range of our current offerings. Inventory of the earlier vintages is becoming limited. A lot of purchasers have taken the opportunity to acquire a vertical selection of our wines – sequential years of a particular varietal – such an opportunity is rare. This makes for a great dinner party.

We were one of the founding members of the “Malibu Coast” American Viticulture Area. Sadly, after a series of wildfires we are one of the few remaining exclusively Malibu estate grown vineyards.
